Nastya Guselnikova
Nastya Guselnikova
9 years old, CP,
spastic diplegia

Nastya survived a perinatal stroke. She stopped responding to voices and moving. After doctors told them that she was at high risk of cerebral palsy, her family's life changed to include endless hospital stays and a ton of prescription drugs. Having been fighting for their beloved daughter for eight years, her parents are confident she will get better. Ongoing rehabilitation, medical specialists, various treatment methods, daily hard work, and Nastya's strong will have yielded promising results, disproving more than one diagnosis. Nastya is nine now, a first-year pupil at a regular public school. She is a cheerful and curious girl who likes watching athletic competitions and adores animals.
